Privacy policy
Last updated: 25 October 2026
This policy explains how M/S Mali Ram & Sons ("we", "us") handles personal data on 144visa.com. We handle your data in line with applicable Indian data protection law.
In short
- We delete your details once your visa work is complete. We do not want to keep your passport, hotel or other documents or your personal details longer than we need them.
- We do not collect your card, UPI or bank details. Payment is handled entirely by Razorpay. We have no involvement in that part and never see these details.
What we collect
- Contact details: your name, phone number, email ID and city of residence, and each traveler's phone number. We use your email ID to send your payment confirmation and travel guide.
- Trip details: entry and exit dates and ports, city of stay in China and number of travelers.
- Traveler documents: each traveler's passport copy and, where needed, Hong Kong PAR, your group's hotel booking, along with traveler names.
- Payment information: your payment is handled by Razorpay. We receive the payment ID, status and amount. We never see, collect or store your card, UPI or bank details. That part is handled only by Razorpay, and we have no involvement in it. Razorpay's own privacy policy applies to the details you give it.
- Messages: anything you send us by email, WhatsApp or the contact form. The contact form opens WhatsApp, so those messages are also handled under WhatsApp's own terms and privacy policy.
- Technical data: standard server logs such as IP address and browser type, kept by our hosting provider for security and operation.
Why we use it
To process your application and payment, to check your documents, to submit them to our DMC partner, to contact you about your application, to answer your questions, to keep our records as the law requires and to protect the website against misuse.
Who we share it with
- Our authorized Chinese DMC partner, which needs your documents to arrange your China 144-hour visa. This means your documents are sent to a recipient in China.
- Razorpay, to take your payment.
- Our hosting and email provider, which stores the website and delivers email to our business mailbox.
- Authorities, where the law requires it.
We do not sell your personal data.
How we store it
Your uploaded documents are not stored on our website server. When your payment is confirmed they are emailed to our business mailbox and passed to our DMC partner. The website keeps a short record of each paid order (date, payment ID, name, phone number, route, number of travelers and amount) so we can answer payment questions.
After your visa work is complete, we delete your details, including your documents, contact details and trip information. We keep only the minimum record that the law requires us to keep, such as our GST invoice and accounting records and the payment ID, for as long as the law requires. If a support issue or dispute is still open, we keep what is needed until it is closed, then delete it. The website is served over HTTPS, and access to our mailbox and records is limited to our team.
Embedded videos
Some pages show videos from Instagram or YouTube. When a video loads, that provider may set cookies or receive technical information such as your IP address, under its own privacy policy.
Cookies
We do not use advertising cookies or trackers. The Razorpay checkout window may set its own cookies, which are covered by Razorpay's policies. The Contact page shows an embedded Google Map, which may also set cookies under Google's policies. If we add analytics, we will update this page.
Your choices
You can ask us to show you the data we hold about you, correct it, or delete it, and you can withdraw your consent for us to use it. Some information we must keep by law, and withdrawing consent after your documents have been submitted may mean we can no longer provide the service. Write to support@144visa.com and tell us your name, phone number and payment ID.
Travelers under 18
A parent or legal guardian must apply for a traveler under 18 and give consent for their documents to be used.

If you have a concern about your data or a complaint about our service, write to or call our grievance officer. We will respond as soon as we can.
