When I came to Shenzhen for a business trip, I was able to freely arrange myself for most of the day. I took a self-created classic route and visited the bustling neighborhoods, Bay Park, old streets, and chill night views. I experienced the diverse Shenzhen at once. I highly recommend it to those who are on a business trip to Nanshan.
🌈citywalk route: Vientiane World👉🏻Shenzhen Bay Park👉🏻Shekou Old Street👉🏻Sea World👉🏻Happy Harbor
1⃣️📍The first stop is Vientiane World
A special mall in a neighborhood + mall with many beauties. The elevator goes up to the 5th floor, and you come out of the middle passage between Broadway Cinema Center and mStand. Shenzhen Manhattan’s classic seats are a must. Then go to the 4th floor to buy a glass of grandma’s handmade products. Longan Ice is the signature. After watching 🚴🏻 ride to the next stop
2⃣️📍The second stop is Shenzhen Bay Park
Shenzhen Bay is the embodiment of romance. I rode the whole journey towards Mangrove Bay, overlooking Hong Kong Island and the Bay Bridge, with the Nanshan CBD buildings behind me. The sunset was golden, diamonds were sprinkled on the sea, and the cool sea breeze blew through my ears. It’s hard to describe my mood at this moment. I want to be a happy bird, standing there for a long time and reluctant to leave. Ride to Mangrove Bay MRT Station and take the MRT to Old Street for food.
3⃣️📍The third stop is Shekou Old Street
Take the subway from Exit A of Dongjiakou Station and follow the order below to eat. The route is very smooth.
✔️Xiao Liu’s Fried Tofu: Dry mixed tofu is so delicious, highly recommended! The sauce is soulful and the kimchi relieves greasiness. A small portion is enough
✔️Foshan Master Huang’s sugar water: Ginger milk is the signature, freshly made in 3 minutes, spicy and sweet aftertaste, I love it
✔️Baicaotang: The red bean double-skinned milk is delicious, with so much ingredients that it almost overflows, especially
✔️Hong Kong Dragon and Phoenix Bread: Pineapple buns are delicious!
✔️Jiahua Snacks: Meat dumplings and claypot rice are the signature dishes. Each diner can order one portion. It looks so delicious that you can’t give up eating it.
✔️Huangliji Pig Intestine: The pork intestine was sold out when I went there, so I ordered mung bean syrup + Yangjiang rice noodles, which was also very delicious. Every store in Shekou is quite old and has a simple environment, but it is full of human touch and is very worth visiting.
4⃣️📍Fourth stop Sea World
Eat and drink enough to digest food, and ride a bike to the sea world First, we went to Huanchuan Square to see the Minghua Wheel. For the first time, we were shocked that there was a giant ship in the shopping mall. The business district was very lively and the night view was beautiful. Then walk to the Sea World Culture and Art Center, which is another quiet and chill world. Sitting on the steps and listening to Live, the singer sang without talking, and blew the sea breeze in silence. It was very relaxing and full of thoughts.
5⃣️📍The fifth stop: Happy Harbor
If you still have time, the last trip is to take the subway to Happy Harbor Go see the Bay Area Lights. The Ferris wheel looks romantic from any angle. Walk along the beach. It’s peaceful and beautiful at night after get off work.
⭐The night view of Shenzhen is beautiful, with beautiful architecture, beautiful lights, and beautiful sea views. Any shopping mall is adjacent to the seaside. I am so envious as a North drifter. I can feel the sea breeze and be in a daze. What else can I worry about?
⭐Another thing I envy is the nightlife in Shenzhen. The streets in the city are bustling at 10pm, and there are so many varieties of late-night snacks that I can’t finish them all in a month. I have to sigh, this is life.
⭐The above itinerary, from 15:00 to 21:00, lasted 6 hours and was full of energy. I wish everyone can experience the charm of Shenzhen in the limited time.
